If you’re not aware of Reddit or just think it’s a place for nerds to talk about World of Warcraft then you’re really missing out. Recently I found the incredible subreddit /r/suggestmeabook, and quite frankly, it’s my new favourite place to get book recommendations.
/r/suggestmeabook is a feed on Reddit where anybody can put in a request for a book recommendation along any line. If you’ve just read a great series and want something similar, this is a great place to pose that question; if you want to get into a certain author but don’t know where to start, you can get a suggestion; or if you just have a hankering for a very specific storyline, you can ask away in this subreddit also.
One of the big posts on there recently was by Chekov-Antosha who asked people: “I’m open to anything right now but I’m probably more interested in ones that have plenty of travelling around rather being rooted to one time or location. But I might be surprised depending on the story.”
This led to a lot of people giving their best suggestion as to where he should start based on some of the best time travel books they’ve read. What I thought I’d do, to save you lovely lot the trouble, is go ahead and list some of the very top suggestions below so you can get your time travel on.
