What is your blog about?

I blog about a variety of things that interest me. For instance, I look at books and review them every month. I also talk about lifestyle content and mental clarity. I am big on self-improvement and try to find ways to develop my life for the better.

What do you think makes your blog stand out from others?
I have mentioned this many times in my blog that I am not someone who has her life put together. The reason I started writing about mental clarity, for instance, is because I am on a journey of my own. And my blog is not about tips and methods which people can follow. It is about my struggles and journey. I try to keep it as real as possible.
What made you want to start a blog?
Back in 2017, I was going through my Master’s applications and it was a really stressful time for me. I was looking for an outlet to focus on. A friend of mine started a blog and encouraged me to do the same. I started my blog as a way to post my creative stories but later, it turned into something more. After 2 years of irregular postings, I decided to get more serious in December 2019. I haven’t looked back since!
What’s the most successful post you’ve ever written?
I wrote 6 Reasons Why You Should Not Start a Blog and got the most visits. I believe it is because of the unconventionality of the topic. Many people write about tips to start a blog but few people talk about the reasons NOT to do so.
What was your proudest moment as a blogger?
Until now, my proudest moment was when I got contacted by an author for a requested book review for the first time ever! I love books and always used to see other book bloggers doing so. So, when it happened to me, I was over the moon about it!
What advice would you give to those looking to start a blog?

I have written about the reasons to start a blog and some tips regarding why you shouldn’t. Once you have your reasons to justify yourself, make sure to just do it! You can always optimize stuff later. The first part is to just start. Build a website, write something and post. Then you can go online and to your close friends and encourage them to support your blog. The next BIG step is to be consistent. Make sure to post at least weekly. Be patient and you will reap the harvest in the long run!
